This conference is the second of a series within IEEE Region 8. It will provide an interdisciplinary forum for academic, research and industrial collaboration in engineering education by presenting newset research results and practical show cases. In this it aims to bridge the gap between pure academic research and real world experiences. The theme of this second EDUCON2011 conference was "Learning Environments and Ecosystems in Engineering Education". It was hosted by Princess Sumaya University for Technology in Amman, Jordan, in the period 04-06 April 2011.
